Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter at WPDE-TV in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor and crime report at WCBD TV. O'Dell's articles in Charleston on how Charleston police handled DUI cases with leniency led to an inquiry by State Law Enforcement Division. The investigation resulted a stricter direction for state officials. Ms. O'Dell won the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell, after her stint working in Charleston reporting and co-anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station prior to moving to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor during weekends. As well as her job as the lead anchor for Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and in addition for Dateline NBC.
